Questions about Collabs
Why can't I ask creators for a review?
Because a review in exchange for something is not honest, and many platforms and laws forbid it. In Collabs a business can only ask for a quantity, a format (stories or a post) and a deadline. Never a positive post, a rating or a review.
Does Zolu pay creators?
No. The business offers an experience (for example, dinner for 2 with a spending cap) and the creator decides whether to apply. A bonus per redemption is Soon.
How is a redemption counted?
Each approved creator gets their own code and link. When a customer uses that code at the register, the redemption counts for that creator. The business sees numbers, never who the customers are.
Are the creator's numbers verified?
Today they are self-reported by the creator, with a link to their profile so you can check. “Verified with Instagram” is Soon.
Do I always have to use #ad or #gifted?
Yes. Every collab post must show #ad or #gifted. When you're done, you paste the link to your post and confirm the label is visible.
Who can apply?
Anyone 18 or older with a Zolu account. The creator profile and applying are free.
How many offers can a business publish?
Free: 1 active offer. Pro: 3. Business: unlimited.
